Deciding what to write for your very first blog post is no easy task. But after much thinking, maybe too much, and I digging deep within me I found a foundational success secret that has carried me through all challenges and achievements. Its simply the belief ” I CAN”.
Its much more than two simple words. In my opinion and experience its the start of every suckcessful person I know. It begins with faith in ones self, a conviction of victory through ALL adversity. Its the belief that you CAN overcome, that you CAN succeed in life. Success begins within ones soul. Its waking up every morning and knowing that you have won already. This is not to say one has no doubt in the external situations. But it is the peace of every winner. Many times I have been in tough situations where all I have left is a belief in my self, that I CAN overcome not matter how painful, not matter how many times I fail, “I CAN”.
I don’t want to give you the false sense that I am a superman figure with mental toughness of comic books. My belief in my self comes from God, my Creator. He wants me to succeed. He has given me the ability to do so, with what I already have. Its just that simple. Say it, “I CAN!”, seriously SAY IT!!! “I CAN!” Isn’t it so empowering? Its stating your position in this universe! Its making a decision to win, to win in your heart, in your soul.
Every entrepreneur, every sports athlete, every star has had to come to understand this. Use this secret. It has made the difference when I have wanted to quit. Its faith that you can and that you will win.
Suckcessful? What the heck is “suckcessful”? And is is it good? Well, in my book, every person that has achieved their dreams and goals started suckcessful. From day one of our lives we must grow and learn if we are to survive. All we have is our God given right to succeed. And we all suck when we start. But that doesn’t take away your right to succeed, your just “suckcessful”. So Joel Valencia is constantly growing and constantly challenging his current attitudes and ideas. Always in a state of suckcess.
So, the real question becomes, does success exist? Only in when you look at your past. Because when you look at your future you realize that there is so much more opportunity, that there is a bigger dream behind any success. And this call to greatness requires you to start something new, into the unknown, into suckcess, all over again.
